Carnahan Electric is a family-owned business based in Diamond Springs, CA. 

The company was established in 1974 by John Carnahan, who initially worked as an electrical troubleshooter. His father, Ed Carnahan, had actually installed Placerville's first television in 1949.

  Today, Carnahan Electric provides a wide range of electrical services, including Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Consulting work.

  Our electricians are certified and licensed who focus on quality work and customer satisfaction. 

In addition to general electrical work, Carnahan Electric also specializes in installation and maintaining commercial motors and pumps systems. 

  We have a dedicated team who specializes in generator installs, service, maintenance and warranty work.  We are Generac and Kohler certified, but work on all makes and models including Briggs & Stratton, as well as Cummings generators.
